- Get known in the Market Place
- Compile your CV – ensure this covers all previous work,
your business & technical skills and projects you have completed where
applicable.
- Research your market – use the Internet, industry media
and your contacts. The world can be a much smaller place once you start the
ball rolling.
- Register with no more than 4 Recruitment Agencies –
ITRM being top of the list! Ideally those who specialise in your area, the
more you register with the more confusing the market will get. Select those
that fit the remit you need. Select on professionalism, client base and overall
success rates.
- Register with on-line jobsites – ITRM can provide a comprehensive
listing of those sites most used. These can also be found through most search
engines online.
