How do you spend your time?

My days are varied and action packed. The great thing about being a Senior Account Manager is that no two days are ever the same. My time is mainly split between working in the office where I can be found on the phone to clients and completing administration, the rest of the time I am out and about visiting clients delivering Service Reports, Road Maps and presenting new solutions.

What drives you?

Customer satisfaction drives me, I get a real sense of achievement when clients are happy with the service they are receiving from ITRM. Achieving KPI’s and the overall business goals of ITRM are big drive for me, it’s great that everyone in the business is integral to its success and that we can all work together to maximise success.

What did you do before you joined ITRM?

I have over 17 years of sales experience and I have worked in account management roles in the Telecommunications, Software and Managed Service Providers sectors for approximately 11 years.

How’s it been since you joined?

ITRM is a great environment to work in and I am enjoying my time here, everyone is one big team and we all work together. Working in the IT industry means I am constantly learning new things to enable me to keep up with the latest technologies.

What do you like most?

Most definitely the people within ITRM, everyone works so well together. It’s also great that we have team that organises social events outside of working hours.

What challenges do you face?

Every day I face a new challenge it can be liaising with supplier to ensure completion of work, to liaising with the service desk to help with any communication that is required when facing customer outages.

What’s good about working at ITRM?

As I have mentioned before the team work and positivity of everyone makes working at ITRM fantastic. We are able to take part in Corporate Social Responsibility Days once a year to allow us to give back to the community. I have been lucky to take part in a CSR day every year since joining.

So, what do you do outside of work?

Outside of work I have recently taken on a project to renovate a property which has taken up most of my spare time. Where I can I like to go to the gym and I am a regular runner with the ITRM running club. I will be taking part in a Spartan Race in Windsor this year and have applied to run the Brighton Half Marathon with Mark Gamlin. I can also be found attending motor sport events around the country.
