A commitment to our local community
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is important to our business and always has been.
We are aware that IT impacts the environment, the community and the economy. Our goal is to strive to be trusted business partners and to act responsibly in order to earn that trust.
Also, through our support for local associations that support the community, our ethos is to help the local community to thrive.
Sustainability and the environment
Our business activities impact our environment, directly and indirectly. This is why we always look for opportunities to help create sustainable development that’s over and above our legal and regulatory obligations, regardless of whether we have direct control over this.
We place high importance on environmental management, for our business and our clients’ businesses. This includes reviewing energy efficiency, water waste, waste disposal and air emissions.
We’re proud of our associations
We have a legacy of supporting our local community dating back to 1999.
We are presently primary sponsors (front of shirt) of the Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT), a relationship that dates back several years.
We also support Bexley Moorings, a local charity that has supported vulnerable children and young people for over 30 years. Through a befriending scheme and access to therapies, a lot of valuable support is helping young people with issues of low self-esteem and anxiety.
Our aim is to build relationships with, and give learning opportunities to, young people in the local communities in which we work by providing resources in kind, such as equipment, knowledge, skills, material support to refurbish buildings, through our work with community, voluntary, educational or charitable groups.
Giving our time for free to local community groups and voluntary organisations will continue to be a high priority to us.
We also aim to build long-term relationships with our supplier and support small and local businesses, wherever feasible.
We provide all of our personnel with the opportunity to spend one working day per annum with a charity of their choice. Whether it’s volunteering for Charlton Athletic’s Charitable Trust (CACT) or another charity, we enjoy giving back. From sponsored walks, to supporting high profile events, there’s a host of activities people can get involved in. Everyone who’s participated have always enjoyed the occasion.
