At ITRM, we are always looking for opportunities to give back to the local communities in which we operate. This has led us to enter a partnership with the University of Greenwich to provide work experience placements, expert guest lectures/presentations and more to students within the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) faculty.
This collaboration aims to support the professional development of students pursuing degrees within the STEM faculty and subject specialisms by offering valuable work experience and placement opportunities within our business.
As an MSP, ITRM can provide students with exposure to a range of IT and Technology services – including IT Support, Cyber Security, Advisory, Consultancy, Voice & Data solutions, Network Cabling and more.
Throughout this partnership, we will work closely with the University of Greenwich to provide students with hands-on, practical experience that complements their academic studies. Additionally, ITRM’s expert team will participate in subject matter discussions, guest lectures and speaker panels where appropriate to share their industry knowledge and expertise – helping shape the next generation of IT professionals.
This new partnership reflects the shared commitment of both organisations to cultivating a highly skilled workforce and driving forward innovation in the industry.
Leon Annett, Head of UK Partnerships at the University of Greenwich, emphasised the value of this collaboration, stating: "Our partnership with ITRM offers our STEM students invaluable industry exposure and hands-on experience. This collaboration better prepares our students for successful careers in the dynamic IT and technology sectors".
