FAQs

Why should I partner with ITRM for IT Support services?

Our determination to feel what the customer feels is what makes us an IT support provider that stands out from the rest. We provide reliable, high-quality IT support services to our London and Kent clients, and ensure their businesses thrive.

Our award-winning team has the expertise to help you with all aspects of IT support - but don’t just take our word for it; read our case studies to hear directly from our clients.

What level of IT support do I need?

Many aspects will influence the level and type of IT support you need. For example, you may already have an internal IT team but would benefit from some additional IT support. If this is the case, our level-one IT support offering adds extra manpower and increases productivity within your organisation.

On the other hand, if you’re looking to fully outsource your IT requirements to an award-winning managed service provider, we can take care of all your technical needs. Here are some helpful questions to ask your managed service provider to discern which level of IT support would be right for your business:

- Can you support my business size?

- Do you support onsite IT?

- What operating hours do you cover?

- Do you have experience with our IT infrastructure and software?

At ITRM, we work with you to determine the optimum IT support package to help your business thrive. So, book a free consultation with one of our IT experts today and find the perfect blend of IT services for you.

What are the benefits of outsourcing IT Support?

When your IT is out of action, your business comes to a standstill. Your invoices cannot be paid, your customer details become inaccessible, and your staff cannot get on with their tasks. Having a reliable IT support provider on your side is critical to ensuring that everything is back up and running as soon as possible.

As your business expands, in-house IT solutions can become challenging to manage. IT issues can start with minor inconveniences, like Wi-Fi connectivity, but evolve into huge ramifications.

Saving time and stress are the immediate consequences our clients can report, but there are many more benefits of outsourcing IT support, including (but not limited to):

Financial benefits: One focused monthly fee for IT support, instead of paying for several, often unnecessary, services.

Improved security: Keeping up with cybersecurity is a complicated and expensive task. However, our managed IT support in London and Kent can provide regular cybersecurity audits and end-point scanning.

Gain access to experience: When you outsource IT support, you have access to the very best IT professionals in the industry.

These are just a few results you can expect to enjoy after partnering with an award-winning managed service provider. Take a look at our blog for more information about the benefits of outsourcing your IT support.

Do you only serve London clients?

No, with offices and teams based in Sidcup and Bristol, we serve clients in London, Kent, Essex and surrounding Home Counties alongside, Bristol, the Southwest and South Wales. We even have clients in other parts of the world! While clients are welcome to visit us at either our Sidcup or Bristol offices, most of our IT Support services are carried out remotely.

What is a managed service provider?

Managed Service Providers (MSPs) deliver IT support services that sustain businesses’ entire IT infrastructure and IT systems. Depending on their level of experience and expertise, Managed Service Providers can enhance business efficiency, offering a range of IT services such as security, monitoring, and infrastructure.

What is included in Managed IT Support services?

In short, a managed IT Support service provider takes care of everything an in-house IT department would, but at a much lower cost. This can include:

  • Hardware and software installation, maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Help desk support and proactive support
  • Monitoring and maintenance of your network infrastructure
  • Security and compliance audits
  • Backups and disaster recovery solutions
  • And more!

How much does managed IT cost?

It depends on your needs, but we’re confident you’ll find it to be better value than in-house support. We offer a free consultation and will be happy to talk with you about your specific needs.

What qualifications do your IT specialists hold? Are they all Microsoft Certified professionals?

Most of our technical engineers, consultants and architects are Microsoft Certified Professionals, besides our apprentices who are on MCP training tracks. Our teams hold various qualifications across different industry-leading vendors and bodies, such as Microsoft, VMware, Avaya, Cisco, ITIL, Prince2 and CompTIA.

ITRM also has a comprehensive Competency Development Framework to assist with the staff's continued development at all levels. This ensures both their technical and soft skills are continually developed and enhanced to help them deliver excellence to our customers. This is measured quarterly at appraisals and has had a significant positive impact on retention and morale.
