    We ask the Questions

    How do you spend your time?

    Firstly, I test the validity of the sales teams’ technology plans and secondly, to make sure these plans fit with clients’ overall business plan.


    When did you start working at ITRM?

    Matthew started four years ago, in 2015.


    And before this?

    Another MSP, where I learned the ropes. It was my first job after graduating with a degree in electronics. While working in my first job I also completed a Master’s degree with the Open University.


    What do you enjoy most?

    Being sure a client’s overall objectives can be met and, when a client appreciates the effort, this makes it all worthwhile. 


    Can you give an example?

    Recently, a specialist medical cleaning company needed upgrades for 30 users. After close collaboration throughout I was happy, once I knew the client was happy. Simple.

    Client appreciates the effort, this makes it all worthwhile. 


    What do you enjoy about working at ITRM?

    The fact that, for some, an MSP makes infinite sense. For example, a client that experiences cyclical peaks and troughs in business demand only pays for licensing as they need it.


    Anything else?

    The fact that I split my time between the office and liaising with colleagues and clients and working across all business services is a real benefit. I definitely get access to more areas of the business than I would in a large MSP.


    And, what about working life at ITRM?

    It’s fun; chatty and friendly but also, get the job done.
