2019 marks the centenary of the RAF Benevolent Fund, the RAF’s leading welfare charity.
To support its mission, to ensure every member of the RAF Family never faces adversity alone, IT is critical to the RAF Benevolent Fund achieving seamless communications between its staff and fundraisers, some of whom work remotely.
The Challenge
As its trusted IT partner, ITRM transitioned 120 users from an ageing on premise infrastructure, to Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform, ensuring a fully secure and resilient environment.
Throughout 2018 the charity spent more than £21 million supporting 53,000 serving and retired personnel and their families, wherever they are in the world. To mark its centenary, the charity is launching an ambitious campaign to help even more people and double its reach to 100,000 members of the RAF Family.
The Solution
